Böblingen, May 1, 2025 – Wörwag Pharma is taking a significant strategic step in advancing its global supply chains: Effective May 1, 2025, Manfred Bahlmann has been appointed Director of Global Supply Chain Management. In this key position, he reports directly to Gerhard Mayer, CFO & Managing Director, and assumes responsibility for the development and management of the company’s global supply chain strategy.

With Manfred Bahlmann, Wörwag Pharma gains a recognized expert in supply chain and operations with extensive international experience in the holistic alignment of supply chains in regulated industries. Holding a degree in Business Administration (FH) and an MBA from the University of Louisville (USA), he brings solid leadership experience in procurement, warehousing, distribution logistics, and order management.
Before joining Wörwag Pharma, Mr. Bahlmann held senior positions at W.L. Gore, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG, and Bausch + Lomb, among others.
With his professional expertise and international experience, Manfred Bahlmann will play a key role in successfully implementing Wörwag Pharma’s global growth strategy.
