Böblingen, September 2026 – The baseline results of the PREDIP study have been published, providing valuable real-world insights into the diagnosis, treatment and quality of life of people living with diabetic sensorimotor polyneuropathy (DSPN) in Germany. The findings highlight the importance of early diagnosis, structured screening and appropriate management, while also identifying opportunities to further improve routine care.
PREDIP Study Published: New Insights into the Care of People Living with Diabetic Polyneuropathy
PREDIP (Prospective Registry Study to Assess the Diagnosis and Treatment Practice of Diabetic Sensorimotor Polyneuropathy) is a prospective, multicenter registry study examining the real-world diagnosis and treatment of DSPN in Germany. The study was conducted as part of the National Educational Initiative for Diabetic Neuropathy, which was launched by Wörwag Pharma in collaboration with the German Diabetes Foundation. Its goal is to better understand current clinical practice and identify opportunities to improve patient care.
