14.10.2020 –  Rather than holding a topping-out ceremony, in view of the corona restrictions the management of Wörwag Pharma has decided to show its employees in Böblingen the shell of the building in group tours.

20.02.2020 –  With an increase in sales of 11 percent as compared to the previous year to 234.1 million euros, Wörwag Pharma, the family-owned company from Böblingen, has also brought 2019 to a successful end.

24.09.2019 –  Following the departure of Dr. Marcus Wörwag from the management of Wörwag Pharma GmbH & Co. KG, Mr. Jochen Schlindwein will assume management as Managing Director and CEO, starting on December 1, 2019. He will manage the business operations of the Wörwag group together with Mr. Gerhard Mayer, Managing Director and CFO.

24.07.2019 –  With an increase in sales of 8.7 percent, i. e. 118.2 million Euro, compared to the previous year, the family-owned pharma company Wörwag Pharma has successfully finished the first half of 2019.

09.01.2019 –  After 18 years of leading Wörwag Pharma GmbH & Co. KG, Dr. Marcus Wörwag will withdraw from the company’s Management Board as of January 2019. Marcus Wörwag will join the Advisory Board and in this function will further develop the strategic direction of the group. Managing Directors Monika Wörwag and Gerhard Mayer henceforth will lead the company together.

15.05.2018 –  On the occasion of the congress of the German Diabetes Society 2018, the Fritz Wörwag Research Prize was awarded on May 9 for new findings on biofactors – this year on the topic of "Biofactors for Neuroprotection".

31.03.2018 –  In March 2018, Irmgard Neuper started her now role as Director of Operations of family-owned company Wörwag Pharma, headquartered in Böblingen. Her responsibilities include international regulatory affairs, quality assurance and product development.
